This is stunning. The soft violet tones with the silhouette of the figures is incredible. I wish I had the opportunity to travel with photography as you do. Ahh, but to dream.

Hmm... The horizon tilt never bothered me, i thought it added subtle dynamism.

As it is panoramic on APS film, I could rotate it and re-drop at less panoramic to straighten the horizon, and in fact while on the topic of adjustments- I flipped the negative the first time I printed it in the darkroom, and liked it BETTER, so I always print it the way you see it here - (but the statues fact the other way when looking out to the San Juan harbor)

do you think it would improve it to be tilted? here is a sample:

I think it's beautiful. Pitty the horizon is a bit tilted. But I like the sky and the figures contrasting allmost black against it. Kind regards, Ted

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your support! I actually broke the camera and had already stopped using it for all but family trips by 2001. I much prefer 35mm, advantix just isn't as versatile and leaves less to the photographer. I now only use an Olympus OM-2.

Excellent details out of your silhouette with a very beautiful sky. I think your starting to get the hang of it. Keep up the good work.
