Beautiful light and dynamics.
I especially like the balance of the light and dark - the white garment and the rich background.
I do not think you can call your self an amateur for long if the right people see your work.

Happy New Year to you too, my friend Marcio, with lots of "pepper , feijoada and tekila", which is also an excellent photo, well composed with the cook leaning in just the right angle with a bottle in each of his hands and all the paraphenalia of cooking around him.
