Thankyou Laura. I know exactly what you mean. How are ASD children meant to look that is different to the average child? But as they are lots of work they are also lots of rewards. I find using them in front of the camera helps them a lot, as does letting them sit in the aviaries with the birds. Calms them right down.

I will be checking your images shortly.

Are these your children? Lovely. People always tell me when they find out about my son, "Wow, he doesn't look autistic." What is that? How does autistic look? Adorable children. You know I'm busy, but girl you are three times busy. But what a reward though, huh? There is a pureness and innocence to my son that I admire. There is no faking, he is who he is, happy or sad. My son is on my portfolio as Little Man and Shy Guy, my daughter is Darling and Flower Pixie. Lovely shot. You gotta love uncles!

Ameed, I felt by having the elbow like that it helped to direct the viewing eye up to the faces. I might be wrong, but oh well. Judi

Thanks Pat. It is quite difficult to get everyone to smile and look at the same time. I must have had the luck that day. Judi

What a lovely capture Judi you have here, it is simply full of life, i like the composition, maybe i don't like cutting the elbow like this, but this doesn't mean the picture is not amazing and using the B&W in it is superb, very well done, regards,

Thankyou Amanda. It is quite difficult to photograph children. The boy on the right is very camera shy, so I felt very proud to have captured him in a natural state. Judi

What a fabulous, lively, well put together portrait. This is not easy to accomplish and you've done a fabulous job. Congratulations.
