About Here are two examples of how you can recover photograph where the flash was too bright. These two roses were on the same bush but were shot separately. I brought them into Paint shop Pro 8.1 individually and use the Gamma Correction tool (.35 setting) under ?Brightness and Contrast? tool to bring their brightness down. This made them workable. I then the ?Unsharp Mask? under the Sharpness tool to sharpen the image. Under the ?Add/Remove noise? tool I used ?Median filer? and the ?Texture Preserving Smooth? tool to work on the noise. This I feel made these Photos presentable to look at.
I know this is a lot of PS work on a photo, but the photos were worth saving despite my mistake when shooting the shots. I should have reduced my exposure setting on the camera or defused the intensity of the flash. Since I not a professional I make these mistakes and thanks to PS I?m able to save a few photos.
