I know what you mean about the shadow - I just remember reading a "composition" book with a Henri (or similar) photo in that had a very distinct pattern that was broken by a very small person on one of the thirds. After that I've been looking out for similar subjects, but they aren't that common really.
When i saw this shot I spotted it instantly - worked really well.
I'll have to go and find one myself at lunch time!

like the repeating patterns here - helped hugely by the angle of the sun and the fact that you've got a little tree shadow to break the pattern.
really works well.

Very well focused and exposed, Rafi, shows the geometric shapes off very well. The shadows of the leaves give a hint of it's location.

Great perspective Rafi this also makes a good abstract too :-)
Super composition and a well chosen angle to take this from.
The DOF is also spot on as everything is in focus !
