About On my walk today I passed a small stream. I noticed it had those water bugs that rely on surface tension swimming on top. I decided to try to film one. I took about 20 shots using different settings and angles. I never realized I was getting the reflection of the shrubs also. None came out well, but I decided because of all my effort, and because I found this one at least interesting, to go ahead and post one. My selection of the title is to test my theory that if you give a "provocative title" along with a thumbnail that shows very little, it will increase the interest in your photo regardless of the photo quality. We shall see if I am right. Smile. Del.

I wonder if some one is playing games, I think it was less than 50 just a couple of weeks ago and had not moved much for several weeks before that. Oh well. interesting. Del.

Hi Del. Like Margaret, I thought you were lookig upwards at the trees. Very interesting concept for taking the shot and interesting theory re title. Personally I prefer to see them clad in stockings so I suppose the wording of the title is paramount. Thought the word "bare" should have been "bear" as I can see a bear's face formed by the bug and it's legs. Great shot.

Well Del, I guess the only thing that is obvious is that you have a lot of admirers, that will click on thumbnail because it bears your name - a very nice compliment indeed. I thought we were looking up at trees, and expected the branches to look like legs, so I guess you are probably right it grabbed the attention. Good reflection though
to be so clear, even though the water bugs aren't as clear

lol I don't count either, because I look at all of yours. But you're right! They will look more with a suggestive title. Nice reflections :)

Interesting theory and experiment Del and you are probably right but I don't count as I click all your thumbnails because I am biased as I like you and all your photos.

Ha, ha! From the title, I was expecting to see a spider, though I don't suppose their legs are very shapely. Interesting shot. I've never heard of these types of bugs!

Very nice idea with the photography!

Also, I would agree with your provocative title theory. Perhaps, a posting of two images both just pure white, but one with a title like "Nude..." and the other with a title like "Rain..." would prove your theory?
