About I spent a few hours one night a month ago walking the midway of a sleazy little carnival, watching people and shooting the lights. Since the camera is aperture priority, I used f/8 exclusively and let the self timer trip the shutter. Any reasonably flat and level surface would do for a camera rest. Focus was by rangefinder.

Cool shot, I love the lights on these rides, tough to shot though.

I guess these guys (buck carnivals) don't get far out of town do they? I went to possibly the same carny people in Mira Mesa back in March and played around shooting the same ride.
