About Tibetians make a pilgrimage to Llhasa to the Temple. It can take their whole life. Some stop at every step and prostate themselves on the ground in prayer.
I observed their beauty, respect and kindness which I hope this porteait shows. She is carrying all her worldly posessions. Taken in 1990 before Tibet was closed to tourists..
