This is excellent! From a composition point of view I like this crop more than the original. All the attention is now focussed on the children and the wall as it should be. The turqoise is the eye-catcher. Very well done!

I like this "contamination" between B/W and color.
In my opinion it a different meaning for the observer
A strong reality (heavy day) for mom; still a coloured (funny day) for kid....
Sorry for my bad english i'm triying to improve it ....
