great jounalistic feel to this photo - supported by the grainy-ness & the high contrast. Makes me wonder what the story is behind the image. Great mood. Normally i don't like it when subjects are put right in the middle of a piece but it really works here. I like how direct this kid's gaze is - helps to create a really dynamic mood to the piece, a story. Well done.
