Hi Den,
the orange tint you see is because the light on the trees is just on the verge of setting. But yes things are starting to turn a bit here. it has been so dry this summer and lots of leaves are fallng off.

i like the different layers in this shot, from small lily pads to the standing up ones to the water to the trees...nicely composed! i like the title a lot, it certainly fits it well. i like how the standing lily pads are much bigger than the ones laying on the water, they stand out well! Kessia

Great series Tim. This one reminds me of gulls around a fishing boat, all fighting for food. The leaves seem like wings. I notice the orangey tint to the background. Has fall started with you? No sign of it over here yet.
