About For The Floor Is Heated...

The quasi carpet in the foreground is made up multitude of wooden pieces strung together, was made by a Belgium artiste as a sculptural standing screen to allow discretion for a Pretty Young Thing... to undress or rather dress for the ball...

Come Join Me... and we will start counting the number of pieces... and I'll learn to photograph you... and more!

I am invariably a sucker for floor shots and I love how the light is dancing on the wood. Bravo!

My German is terrible... but there is a small town, south of Hanover and west of Salzgitter being Gronau (Leine) that has been producing Der Original Gronauer Lockstedter ist als echte Spezialität geschätzt und überregional bekannt geworden. Die Firma Jaster produziert noch heute handwerklich nach alter Tradition im Familienbetrieb.
An acquired taste... but wonderful (full of ginger and more)!
And if you know local history... there is also an association to Finland... but that is for you to find... where we both visit next month...

To Bijit B... the one that creates...

Your view is appreciated and respected... and although I might have focused somewhat closer... your crop starts to loose some of the DOF... I feel... but a picture is for the viewer to consider and adjust to her/his view!
danke

To the one from Dresden or is it Dusseldorf...+?

The floor is actually clay tiles with heating there under... the wooden carpet come screen measures about 1.5m x 2,5m... so just tall enough for you to change behind...

but you will have to add a zero or two to your numbers... but lots of time... as the tee and Lochstedter will be served only when you are finished...

Please allow me to say...only my opinion...it would not...as the depth gets lost...and the details in the foreground.

Sweet L... you must be a writer as your words are always soooo expressive... I think this is very enticing to look at as there is much to see.... creative and wonderful...
