About Some PS filters and adjustments. I love cemetaries and portraying their beauty, as you all know. This one caught my eye, with beautiful iron work and shadows falling. Backlighting was adjusted to darken, and contrast slightly increaded. A little omni lighting was added to the left side of gate to emphasize it's beauty.

Very well cosen angle for this great composition.... And the post processing adds tons of value to the image... By accentuating the iron framework you made the trees just look 'out of this world'

I love the atomosphere this creates, but I don't think I will go in until the sun comes up, just a little too scary. Del.

Wow.......

that shaft of light is so mystical......

I absolutely love the contrast - it adds so much to the mood, which I think is required in these sorts of subjects, right? Nicely done

Wonderful play of light and shadows, Rebecca! That shaft of sunlight across the scene highlights each of the graceful structures in turn, while the shapes of the top of the fence are brought out by their silhouette. The darkened sky is great, too. Really nice work!

A very nice shot Rebecca. The light and feeling are perfect. I'm slightly uncomfortable with the railing disappearing off the bottom right of the image as it does but overall it's a wonderful image.

i personally dont like cemetiries but this one i comment as an architecture or a moody landcape
shot but i have to agree that the headstones and the mystery of the place adds alot to the composition
finally have to say that i like the shot ;)

Another dramatic and spectacular cemetery shot Rebecca. The background trees have that IR quality and the omni lighting adds an incredible beauty to the wrought iron and headstone. I really love your cemetery shots, there is something so exquisitely haunting about them. I don't mean supernatural with ghosts so much, as that feeling that provokes you in your heart and soul. Wonderful work!! (I have not been around much the past couple days and won't be for the next week or so but will hopefully have time to stop by and check out your photos)

Thank you so much, Jim. Not too many people love cemetaries the way I do. I love the old ones, with their lovely headstones and wrought iron, full of history and mystery. I appreciate your stopping to comment :)
