Nice shot of the Lily Len. I agree with Jim, you should eith er isolate the flower or us a background element for framing. For instance, I see the room behind has some nice architctural features, if you squared the lilly with a wall in the room, showing those features it might be a nice frame, just shoot lots and someting great will happen, keep on going on, Cary
Len this is an excellent shot of the lily, very good exposure, wonderful detail, but the background is te problem. Try to take the shot at least against a plain color wall, or the blue sky or hold a black velvet piece of material behind it. The idea being the viewers eye won't concentrate on the flower but stray to the background to see whats back there ! jimc
