I respect your opinion about the color cast- but unfortunately- my partner and baby are really that PASTY looking in the flesh- maybe the deep blue pool liner exaggerates it even more?
PS- I did use Unsharpmask- I guess this clarity loss is inevitable when you go to 1/10 of its original file size :-( I will work on the original some more tonight. Thanks Hermen!!!

Hi Marianne,

if you reduce the image size it is often needed to sharpen the image a little. You can do this using 'unsharp mask', available in Photoshop (Elements) and probably also in several other image processing programs. You can play around with the unsharp mask settings until you find the result pleasing. If you need more help, please drop me a mail (hermen_pen@yahoo.com). Another remark: the image seems to have a colour cast, the skin tones don't look completely natural... I'm not completely sure what colour, though. So you may want to play around with the colour adjustment as well.
