Chris - I know you have also produced this picture in B&W as well as this one - which ever way you look at it, its a class picture of a classic vehicle - regards Dad

Grand old bus! I suppose that's almost old enough to be a "vintage" car these days...

Magnificent shot of an old beauty Chris. The background certainly does justice to the vehicle. I like how the doors are hung from the central pillar. All coachworked no doubt. Compare this with my shot of a MkII Jag which is 12 years younger. Things changed a lot in just 12 years. Den

Very engaging shot. I once owned a '52 MG, the two seater sports model, not the sedan shown here. So of course I had to check out this image. My MG was always needing a tune up, the electrical system always smelled as though it were about to burst into flames, the heater didn't work, but I loved it anyway. Nice photo. The car is in absolutely the perfect setting.

This is a perfect car picture Chris. The colour and lighting is spot on as is the focus and DOF. I really like the reflections in the wings and the cottage in the background. The framing also finishes off the image well. One for my favourites. Regards, Graham.

What a pity that you do not want ratings because this would have been a 7 withoput soubt, everything about this is pertfect from the exposure and focusing to bring out the detail and colour in the car to the location in which the house compliments the car perfectly.

hi Chris, I think the only thing that does credit to this beauty is to drive it.... )
Apart from that, I do like this shot. It is quite dignified, and this guy you've been talking to will be really happy with a copy of this shot.
Photographically, I think a lower camera position and a wide angle shot would bring out the "grandeur" of this vintage car a bit better. This shot reminds me of the car photos I used to look at when I was a kid... (which I still am; I've set my eye on a less old, but also a classic car, but this time not only to look at, but also to drive...)
Cheers,
Hugo

Wonderful photo Chris, I managed a photo of a friends Aston Martin DB6 but could not do it justice unfortunately. Unless cars are as small as a hover fly then I aint going get much success with them !

Excellent prime condition! Wish I could see the gentleman too - my imagination is running away with me :-) Beautiful Chris - not only the old master, but the bit of the house too. Linn PS : I shot Jannie Smuts' car today! But it needs a lot of work :-)
