About Apologies for the terrible title, "sunset" was a bit obvious. Looks to me like the 8 ball type pool balls you get in the states.

This was taken on the hills between Mirfield and Huddesfield last monday. I had to wat about 1/2 an hour for it to reach that cloud - all the time praying that it didn't blow aawy or move on!

Ah yes - we used to pull against Parbold YFC tug of war team in the late 80s. Never beat them once, they were amazing.... grrrrrr

That view's facing away from Pendle, the snow is on Bowland Forest.

Think Clitheroe's not going to know what hit it!

I'm trying to remember Pendle hill - I do remember sledging down Parbold hill - wow that was scary lol
Enjoy your nights out :-)

ha ha

Yeah, it sets in th west to the camer was pointing straight towards the promised land.

I'm back there tomorrow camping in an old WW2 bomb hole on the side of pendle hill where we used to go sledging - taking some tykes to shown them a proper night out!

Actually, here's a photo of the hole itself! This is where came from! Well, the village below!

Superb capture Ade - amazing for many reasons, lease of all the fact you have found the sun (not surprising it was nearer to Lancashire though lol)

I often mis-spell too, Ade. Not only is English not my natural languish, but when I hurry I make many mistakes and unless I re-read what I had written (jst now I almost missed the w in re-written)the mistakes cannot be corrected. I often write Dera instead of Dear etc. So you are in good (bad?) company. lol

Rafi

Thanks for your kind coments Rafi - you're correct about my typing, I've become very fast over yet very innacurate over the years. I've got BIG hands and tend to hit way too many keys. I should really start spell checking before I post these messages!

I was rushing to go see a friend when I posted this - well spotted.

Outstanding photo, Ade. How do I avoid writing sunsert without writing sunset? So let me just write its's an outstanding photo. You must have been very excited uploading it, and rightfully so. How do I know? look at your spelling. It was done hastitily, with several mistakes, not typical for someone whose native languish is English.
Thanks for your detailed, generous comment on my "The Jordan"
Regards,
Rafi
