Thanks Sue for your comments about Port Rowan. I think that the shot was a full frame, but I will check the un-editied one. Thanks also for your remark about my portfolio, I feel that I just do not have enough impact in my shots, too long a draftsman where 90 degrees is in front of one's face from day to day; this becomes a rather strong priority and I find it ties me down. My grand daughter to whom I gave my Nikon 2020, has a completely free outlook when taking a shot, and even without the needed discipline through a course in photography, she takes great images without trying. Very very nice image, Alan.
Has this been cropped at all? I ask because if there is a little more of the image available at the bottom, you might consider shifting the crop downward in order to include the peak of the nearest boathouse (the brown one this side of the pink/salmon one) and to raise the horizon further from center. It probably won't make much difference cuz this is a delightful image on its own, but I offer the suggestion, thinking it might make the diagonals appear even longer.
Keep shooting. Your portfolio is marvelous.
