Très belle composition et belle perspective coupée par un rai de lumière qui participe à mettre en valeur le personnage d'en avant qui semble séparé des autres.

Excellent BW, Peter. I like the composition and the light "intrusions" but, most of all, the amazing shallow dof choice that makes the woman "come out" from the screen and the wide space dedicated to the direction she is looking to. Wery well done; congrats! Cheers, Paolo

Great street shot. And B&W is the answer in my estimation. Very nice image Peter. The woman in the background is either just sitting or getting up, OR looking at something which make the viewer wonder what it is. jimc

I like this shot Peter; you have captured excellent scene here; this line of bright light seems to be the border dividing this backyard (road) into two alien parts; and these women belongs to different worlds - the first in the foreground to the new world and this women in the background to the old one - just compare how their parts of backyard look like (excellent use of DOF); this is my vision;
great story and excellent shot;
I am impressed

Hi Peter, very tranquil atmosphere. Siesta time? The shallow DOF is an excellent touch, it creates that hazy, suffocating atmosphere of the mediterranean countries, at least the way I perceive it. Exellent shot. I had a closer look at your portfolio. Pretty impressive. I find the large variety of subjects, atmospheres and techniques very appealing (hence I returned the pleasure of adding you to my friendslist too....) I'm looking foreward to what you'll come up with next.
Cheers,
Hugo
