less people up here and possibly cheaper as the Canadian $ is about 75 cents US. plus LESS PEOPLE ...LOL.

This could be my favorite yet from the trip, the reflection is perfect in my eyes, and the crop works well too. Nice job, looks like this could throw some serious competition against Yellowstone for my next trip.

Great capture! The light is perfect, also the reflection. Seeing the bottom of the lake is like "the cherry on the cake" (i don't know if this has a meaning in your language: in mine means " the detail that makes it perfect"). Congrats!

wow! beautiful lighting, especially on the mountains!! great reflections as well. I really like how you can see through the water close to the bottom, a cool transition from sky to ground! I think i would like it even better without the black at the bottom. wonderful landscape shot! Kessia

HI John,
ahh i could be your monitor setting. i know that my wifes monitor is set lighter then mine and my photos seem so different on hers....guess we will never know how the photographer is intending the image to be viewed on line really. And yes its dark down there to give it weight. something i use in paintings as well.

Thank you for all your comments.
Tim :)

Very nice Tim - I'm curious as to what month this was taken. Your style here is bit wider than I would have chosen. The bottom 10% or so is very dark and IMHO it draws my eye looking for detail that in my monitor is not pronounced. You've done a good job of capturing the serene feeling of the lake. My views of it were tainted by smoke from fires. Its a keeper. John B
