Like this a lot, John, especially the way I can see the ripples on the water all the way to the bottom. You pretty much had to choose which to save, highlights or shadows (unless you do the 2 images blended thing), and I applaud your choice. Well done!

I think Rebecca might be right in that this is a little harsh, but then, it was a harshly lit scene to begin with. I'd say the overall effect is pretty successful. You get a good sense that this is a dark night and those are very bright lights. What I like particularly is that I can see a faint silhouette of the roof. I think this is quite nice.
