i believe this intense contrast gives more a more dramatic character to the image... looks like this scene comes from a dream.... a princess dreaming of being a swan during the day, wandering around till the spell is broken.... very nice work indeed.... congrats!!!!

I wpuld be tempted to crop to just above the swans head to give image more impact. The swan has been overexposed and lost a lot of detail. Knowing kodak tmax though i would of thought that the negative would of had some detail in it as it a very tolerant film. Maybe just a bad print or scan?
