Hi Lori, Without prejudice about the subject, I'd say the compsition in this photo is well balanced, and I like the "duotone" quality of this shot. The deep red in combination with the white is excellent, and I like the subtle framing...
A few minor points, though. I think a stronger lighting could've created a more three dimensional image, as well as generating an interesting parttern of bright and intense tones. I also think A tad more white on top would've balanced this shot even better. Other than that, the softness fits quite well, and I like the off centered, close-up composition with the use of the diagonal. Good one!
