About This was such a high grain shot due to lighting (almost night)and using 800 film,so softened and used fade control to improve image...Pacific Ocean/northern coast of WA state...comments appreciated

hey, I have missed some of your photos having been gone for over ten days. So I have been going through what I have missed in your portfolio. This one just came right out at me. the texture coloration and composition really make for a strong yet sensitive image. I like it very much Gayle. And thank you for your kind comments.
Warm regards, Tim

Very, very lovely..it's more of what you feel, than what you see.. Great image!

I think often with a scene like this the grain contributes to the mood but what you did here is even better. It gives it such a dreamy quality. I like the different tones on the beach and the faint outline of the trees - things you don't notice immediately but which gradually reveal themselves. Magical and mystical.

The grain and haze make it quite serene Gayle. Complete tranquility. The tones are gorgeous.
