Sean, this is a really nicely composed photo! I like how you used the arch as a natural frame surrounding the 'stairway to nowhere.' Both the arch and the stairway work to lead the eye nicely into the frame. One thing you could improve about this, though, would be to straighten it so that it doesn't lean to the right, which is especially noticeable in pictures where there are a lot of straight lines.
