All the men from this little village (661) are arrest and move to Neunengamme (concentration kamp)
After World War come not back 600 men.
For every men is on this place one square in bushes .
The monument on the background is the Women who is looking out for here husband
We must not forgot this time .
Many people give here life for our freedom.

Along with your story of this village, this is a very moving photograph. These 600 men and millons of other men and women lost their lives due to a few evil, power hungry men. Yes! we must never forget; and, we must never let this happen again. Bravo to you, Teunis for posting this photo and sharing the tragedy of the Village of Putten.
