a lot of emotive is beautiful and of great impact
but the central part very burnt it loses effectiveness and a it disturbs
but this is the limit of the digitalis
good the surrender of the light on the lawn...

ahh - good point. Well I'll find out soon as a friend's getting a 70-300 from them for £119. Bargain as it's the USM I mentioned.
I'll find out whether he gets taxes added and pass the news on.
Also, I'll be up for a trip over to Roundhay at some point if you fancy meeting up. A little bit hectic this week with various trips out, but certainly soon.

I really got lucky that night in the park - I'd just started to pack up and headed back as the sun had pretty much disappeared.
Walking up a little hill I spotted a few leaves being illuminated really brightly, so decided to take a second look - lo and behold you get this huge sun behind a clump of trees. I got about 30 shots, all angles and compositions, landscape, portrait, sun at the top, bottom - everything you could think of(got to love digital).
Just had a quick scan over your portfolio (at work so can?t dwell to long). I think we share a passion for those perspective and leading line type shots ? you?ve got quite a few of roads going diagonally across the shot. There?s Guide me and Vantage point that have that perspective feel too.
Impressive set ? shall have a better look at home some time.

I noticed their prices too though I think they are located on the Channel Islands so the prices will be duty free ones :-(

I've been thinking of getting one of those - went into Bligh cameras on Upper Briggate to see if they had one, they didn't stock them, so I ended up coming out with a 300mm lens instead.
A month later I saw the same lens on 7daysstore.com with USM (mine's not) for £30 less - and mine was used!!!!
pays to shop around, though the guys in Bligh are particularly helpful so I'll not say anything too bad about them.
