Every Fourth of July we all wander down to the local high school to watch the fireworks. Almost every 4th, Fith (spelled correctly) a local San Diego band, Sets up in their driveway and give us a few sets before the show. This is no garage band, these guys are hot. I liken them to Lynyrd Skynrd on steriods.
It's not every ones style in the neighborhood but no one complains. The whole block is basically shot down with several hundred people milling about.
When the show (fireworks) is over these guy's neighbors bring out their stereo and play a completely differnt genre.
I like this, that we all get along at least for one day...
