Thanks for you comment on my picture of the same scene Marion. It's different looking at this image knowing what is being hidden by the fog. I will spend some time looking through your portfolio. You have a very good eye for composition and design and you have some splendid images. Regards John

Marion, this is just outstanding! Just back from your travels, and already a BIP award! (and well deserved!) I love the 'zen' simplicity of this composition - almost monochrome, but with that wonderful band of light blue along the horizon, to which the three posts lead the eye, making sure it's not missed. Into the favorites!

It certainly IS a moody landscape! Well deserving of Best In Project, Marion. I particularly line the "thin blue line" of the horizon. And the sticks in the water, leading the eye through the image.

This one is truely fantastic. The simplicity of the composition creates a very scerene atmosphere. Ominous, quite treatening and it evokes a feeling of the tranquility for the storm. The bright blue strip of light on the horizon is superb. One to frame!

Cheers,

Hugo

It's beautiful and minimal. The only nitpick is that the horizon feels crooked.

Welcome back, Marion. Great eye for a simple but very beautiful shot. Those four posts lead me right out into the middle of the lake where I find peace and tranquility.

Prachtige minimalistische foto, de richting van de paaltjes doet je naar de horizon turen .. Mooie opbouw !

Wow! Superd reflections caught in the ripples. I live the thin blue line you've got on the horizon. Excellent picture in my opinion.

Goede morgen Marion. Ik heb altijd het idee gehad Dat NZ een prchtig land was. Dat is ook met deze foto zo, alleen je moet het wel weten te waarderen. De paaltjes geven een mooi gevoel van diepte tezamen met de streep zon aan de horizon. Groetjes, Rob.
