Very nice capture. A lot of times photographers like to get that mirror effect for this type of reflection, but the rippled water in this work gives the piece a softer tone. Nice job capturing this moment.

Excellent capture.
The reflection adds that extra something to the shot.
Chris, what is the fact/theory behind the "only reduce in factors of 1/2 or 1/4" rule? I would love to learn about this.
Thanks! Angelo.

thanks bartock, and it wasnt handheld, the slight blur comes from the bird having some kind of freak-out where he kined of jumped up alittle bit and ruffled all of his feathers at once...maybe he was telling me i was getting too close... :-)
Sometimes my pictures seem on the small side because i will ONLY reduce my images in multiples of .5 or .25 (1/2 or 1/4)...this drastically maintains image quality when resizing from hi-res digital files.
