About This was taken through a double-glazed window during a heavy lightning storm. Unfortuantely, the double glazed window caused artifacts unseen with my own eyes to show up during the 30 second exposure. I have to retouch with the photoshop clone tool.

This is cropped slightly from the original to closer match the 90% coverage of my Elan 7e's viewfinder.

The colors are slightly different from the slide, having been scanned in vuescan with auto levels.

I'm glad I didn't go on the roof and take more photos as I had wanted to do. The lightning striking a nearby building later is proof of this.

This is more of a cool photo than a good one, in my opinion.

Thanks for the critique on my sunflower. You are right, it it's a little dark. the actual exposure is correct, though. I processed it dark, because some people find a bit more appealing. I may reprocess the correct exprosure and download it again.

Nice shot on lightning 1. The sky can be a little dark, though. As a retired Army meteorologist and living in Kansas, lightning is a photo challenge. Again, nice shot
