If You are also driven to Ancient culture's richness and it's magic in Architectural buildings: Egypt is your destination.

You can fly; ride Camels that smiles at You and make angry sounds when they're willing to go elsewhere than you expected them to go; rent R.V.'s and land-rovers Nissan Frontier truck type, or peacefully ride your bike...
it's all there, within Your grasp, willing to greet You!
Embrace history of Mankind with all the goodness inside of You befitting Future meeting past through Your senses...

It sure is a Lifetime experience!!!

Dearest Richard,

my Best thoughts are with You, Richard... wishing You a speedy recovery!
pls check Your e-mail... i got really worried about You!
i am also a biker avid and understand what you have been through, my Friend...

....wanted to say "Thanks" for taking the time off Your Life to Comment my work...

i think i understand what You mean about the Horizon... the area where picture was taken is flat, but further down at pyramids level it isn't
it's descending, Richard..........
how would You take this picture?

main subject for me was the bicycle and the biker who fled from shot, as i intended to take his picture too... guess he seemed a little shy to me! *wink*
pyramids would remarkably make the Time-Line...in my humble point of view

BLUSSSH oh, Richard.... i am in no need for a Commend, Dear! it's just what i do to feel of use to the society where i belong... that's all!
can't help it if those little ones are so cute and full of Life -- and unfortunately so left as 'outsiders'! *sparkle*
tell You truth, i get much more from their eyes and smiles and hugs that i ever give, my Dearest Friend!!!
those are priceless moments........... no money can purchase the Bliss i get in return!
*sparkle*

CONGRATULATIONS for the peaceful "White Picket Fence" of a very fine and elegant home!

my Best,
Regina

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 8/18/2004
Looked at as strictly a picture, my usual comments about the scans of prints, Regina. Another feeling I have about this image is that a horizontal format would have allowed you to keep the pyramids in the frame and, at the same time, give the bicycle tourist some breathing room inside the picture.

You are to be commended for your volunteer work. I am sure you are making a difference.

This image attracted me since I am a bike rider and avid bicycle tourist. I probably won't see such exotic lands on my bike, but any touring is better and more healthy on a bicycle! It wasn't too healthy yesterday, when I was hit by a car on an errand. The hit-and-run driver got away clean, but luckily I wasn't seriously hurt. Maybe I'll just take pictures for a few days!

hello Ahmed,
nice to meet You!

well, i was veeeery far from the couple and i guess they never knew i took their photograph...
they were so much self absorbed -- which made the pic even more appealling to me!!!
i enjoy sharing in my work something to make it more Human, more appealing to all senses... but it's just who i am.
They are a very handsome couple and i thought it was nice to show scale patterns towards ordinary height of people,,, so everyone can figure out how huuuuuuuuuuuuge the pyramids are...
Sure IS a Lifetime experience, as for me!

Thank You for dropping by!

my Best & Maat Salama,
Regina

WOOOOOOW.... Jeff: Suuuuuuper!!!
guess what?!? ... this was my former intention when i was about to take the photograph when i first got to the scenic place... but while was trying out best angle i made acquaintance with the biker who was very polite and tried to leave the scene, so i could do my work without his interfering on it - sooo kind - ... so i chose to leave him on it *wink*
that way, i can remember best when i see the pic!

Gee... You are amazing, Zapp The Man!!!
Thank YOU for working on PS to bring out the BEST of this photograph!
Thank YOU also for the step-by-step generous e-mail that You sent me, Gloria Fusco and the Aussie guy, so we can work in frames as You do! *sparkle* i'll make sure i'll practice some...

ThankYOU ThankYOU ThankYOU, Jeff!

hey Biliana,
thanks for your constructive criticism... my idea of the shot did NOT include the biker, just the bicicle.
i chose to leave him IN the picture because he was very handsome and polite to me when i was trying to make the photo and the place was getting pretty crowded with other Tourists that early in the morning! *wink*

CONGRATS for your lovely Sea shell Series and the loveable baby - what a great emotional portrait!

Dearest Steve,

You're always too kind!

my dream picture here would be just the bike and the piramids shot... BUT it was packed full of tourists and the charming gentleman at the left handside gave me a warm Friendly smile and offered me to ride along... i confess i couldn't resist having him around on the shot! BLUSH

WOW... a scorpion chasing YOU!

Your pictures are strange, wonderful, different. It looks like your cycling straight into history. Even the tilted horizon is special in this case: it makes the world look smaller, more like a sphere. It makes you wonder if there is anything on this planet but thousands of piramids. Think I.m going to ride my bike this afternoon instead of sitting behind my computer. Regards, Ted

Regina,
saluti,
Tommaso
