Tis is: "If you wish peace, prepare for war". The indexes of delinquency in the main cities of Latin America have grown in an alarming way. The criminals no longer conform to with stealing. Kidnappings, murders preceded of tortures, mutilations, violations and the worst thing that you can imagine are things of every day. The diffusion of facts of this nature don't surprise anybody. The honest citizens live locked in their houses, with their windows protected by strong iron grills. The criminals walk freely for the streets looking for their best victims. This is possible thanks to the existent corruption in the groups of power that have formed a true society to offend under the protection of a not well called justice that only works to offer protection to the mafias. At most of the homes there is more than a weapon. I have eight, strategigal distributed in each one of the ambiences, for not being surprised defenseless :] Considering that those in charge of the police function don't fulfill their obligation of offering protection to the population, this has decided them to be self protected. They exist legally registered more than two million weapons and is considered that there are other four millions without registering. f/l 80mm (35mm camera), 1 sec at f/6.8
WOW... veeeeery sad episode: worst is that the gun in the picture was made in Brazil!!! soo sad, Felipe. i have lost my fiance' shot by a 9 yr old kid that tried to steal the car in front of my house at his age of 37, but luckily i am stil alive from such mishaps... NEVER want to BE around a firing gun - not even for protection - mysef. i was mugged in some other Cosmopolitan cities throughout the world BUT insist on Peace!!! i don't carry a gun and i humbly BELIEVE that PEACE is only achieved IF we set Peace within ourselves first. VIOLENCE only brings back Violence... Action & Reaction Universal Law.
