It's all in the marketing! The caption defines the way we think about cats. Good wordsmithing. Technically, get a little more depth of field to bring out definition in the paw, but a commendable image.

Thank you, Arwa. Looking at it again I wish I have moved a couple inches to the right so as to have more of the background in shadowed. Maybe if I can get Spike to re-pose :-)

Thanks, Linn. Spike is an excellent model, very willing to pose particularly when sleeping which is most of the time.

Seeing as we have four of the little monsters-i-mean-darlings, it's almost impossible for me to shoot anything without some furry person lurking around the edges of the shot somewhere. Thanks, Susan, for your kind comments.

Fabulous, soft, almsot B&W - very very eye-catching and of course, original :-)

...Oh little emperor without a sphere of influence conqueror without a country, smallest living-room tiger, nuptial sultan of the sky, of the erotic roof-tiles, the wind of love in the storm you claim when you pass and place four delicate feet on the ground, smelling, distrusting all that is terrestrial, because everything is too unclean for the immaculate foot of the cat.
Ode to the cat P. Neruda
Fragment
Wonderful picture, Jon!
