I live in delaware and I have seen many Cicadas, but they are not purple, the ones around here are Black with red eyes. Did that one just come out of its shell or is a mutation?

what must I say?? EXCELLENT is the best word for it. Dan, I try all the time, but it is not easy to catch bugs close......I try over and over again......grrrr but I never give up.....one day I am so good as you are......I am waiting for my new camera Minolta 7I....Danny sell it....so I hope if I know how all works I can make such shots

Paul I'm not that smart.
I just use it
I dont no if it increases focal length ,when you add the extension tube it decreases your minimum focusing distance.So without the extension tube my 75-300mm lens closest focusing distance is about 5 ft. With the extension I can be about 18inches away ,this is a really good distance for most of my bug shots anything inside 1 ft would scare them away.When you get closer the picture in the frame gets bigger thats all I know.
