I think Jimmy Payne has a point; some of the petals are over exposed. But I'm wondering if the emotional impact of the photo would be increased if there were more detail in the lighter petals. The way it is right now might communicate the dappled sunshine in the garden and the feeling of a warm summer day even more than if there were detail in every petal. I think you did a fine job.

Rebecca, here's the shot with camera set to mult-segment metering. You can really tell the difference. I use spot metering most of the time. ...Jimmy

Lovely pinks and well presented. Can your new camera be set to spot metering? I ask because some of the blooms seem to be overexposed. I'm attaching an example of this on one of my shots.
