The 10.5mm DX fisheye is selling in New York at B&H for about $670 so not outrageously expensive

That's the one, Brad! Someone asked me the price of that. Do you know? I had the feeling it wasn't outrageously expensive, but I could be wrong. It's designed for the digital format, of course--can't cover full frame. So it's the equivalent of a 15mm fisheye. Not bad, though...

I think the 10mm Fish eye with the defish software is pretty impressive

Wow, if it can look like the famous 85/1.8 and it only cost you US$100 I would say you got a fantastic bargain! Yesterday I was shooting with Matsukawa San and his new D70 with the 18~70mm zoom. I think I could be very happy with that camera! (I'd want a fisheye with it, though, to get my fix of ultra WA photos--the Nikon one comes with software to straighten the fisheye curves!)

Actually I missed the lens when I posted. I did not use an 85 mm, I was using my Nikon 70-300G el cheapo zoom lens - I will go an change it on the post. It cost me $100 and for the money, does a superb Job.

I've just noticed the lens you used for this, the wonderful 85/1.8. I've seen it used to very good effect by several photographers I admire. Lovely image quality... The more I look at this the more I like it. I've been back a few times already. Looks like the new camera has been stoking the creative fires! I just spent a day with my new panorama camera, as different from a digital camera as it is possible to imagine. But I think it got MY creative juices going. Should be able to show you something later this week.

Like I said before. Nagging family dragged me off before I could make further adjustments . I only managed 2 shots and this was the better of the 2
