It's a fractal tree! I can honestly say I've never seen a tree even remotely like this one. I like how the background at the left looks a bit fractal-y as well. It's a good photo, but I wonder if cropping out the background on the right would pull the eye into the image more, giving the subject a bigger impact.

Great shot, but its not an oak, its called "sobreiro" here in portugal. Where i live there are lots of them, we are the main exporters of cork. Nice shot. Rui
