Very good PS work, fine composition. The fram is a bit too dominating IMO. Best, Gyorgy

Kevin,

I admit I am a die hard fan of Photo Manipulation. Once upon a time it was said " a photo doesn't lie" but now the quote " a photo is worth a thousand words" is more fitting. And this photo says it all.

Incredible.

Very nice. By the way, did you PS or was this for real?.......Oh yeah, Im not supposed to ask that! Seriously, well done. The severity of the contrast is what I think makes the pic.

Fantastic dream. Excellent dream works in PS.

Kevin,

Just a thought, Should we from UK and Ireland plan a get together. There are about 10 or more from UK and 3 in Ireland.

Venue could be in UK.

Regards,
ken.

Not easy to do properly works like this: the light is wrong and the patch work is too obvious (tha man with light on his back and without shadow)... Not a good really good PS work, however nice idea.

The final image is what matters yes, but you can see the side effects of such extreme adjustments. Such as rough edges, gunky colours and lack of shadows.

Exactly...and the final image is what matters!..definently technicolor dreamscape..really like the concept/execution..love the coblestones and the tower..congrats for SC!..regards,gayle

Have you ever read the Stephen King novels about the gunslinger? He's heading to a Dark Tower, which supposedly is surrounded by blood red roses. This makes me think of the novels so much! (in fact, you should email him a copy and ask if he wants an image for a book cover... truly, it is remarkable!)
Excellent use of colour and composition to give this a nice mix of happy colours, and foreboding darkness.

Fantastic work Kevin, trust me I wont ask ;-) However, PS is only part of this - having the idea in the first place is what counts and this is superb !

very cool... im not against PS... its cool.. but to be honest... i think you should revisit this one... maybe try not to make soooo... well the first thing I thought of was Monty Python animation, heh... everything looks a little cut-out you know... maybe try sth else with the walker... OR you could tell me to piss off... cheers!

Beautiful image and concept.I dont use an editor to this degree, but I would like to. I also agree, that there is a feeling that you almost have to "confess", I dont know why. Its a great tool, both to bring out the best in a natural photo, or to bring photos to new places, such as youve done here.
