Oh hey. We've got to free up when we can or communication gets a bit formal and meaningless.
There was a movie made in the fifties by cocteau called orphee, you're familiar with the legend? My favourite myth. This guy tunes into a wierd radio station with cryptic poetry and he's transported to the other side. And it's gorgeous black and white and everyone is french and glamorous which is a plus...there's a scene when every thing goes negative (I seem to recall) and or reverse... the portal is a mirror. You're burning stuff up. The normal world is tarnsported into another world... these things happen in these pictures. Very very like an old "matrix". I can imagine you wont get a lot of hits immediately, not many of us do. I'm sorry I don't have a photographers vocab but you know exactly what you're actually doing. Those clouds in you're latest have something revealed in them. It's all otherside stuff.
They said of Pynchon he made the real unreal, put plots of new , just plausible possibilites into the heroes life. Read lot 49? That's my literary equivalent.
Nice to hear from ya Aimee'.
There is the plot, and then it thickens and or takes a totally differnt turn this is there in your work. I'd stick to your path, but of course it's your path.

Thank you Ian! Can you expand on your comment for me? Honestly I am blown away by the responses I have recieved. I am as ametuer as they come, but I have passion. I have been doubting myself for a while now... but the comments are all A+. I have been wondering... what am I doing with these photos? Is it acceptable? How do I classify them? Do you see where I am going with this? Thank you again! I don't ask questions like this to everyone, ya know? And I feel silly but oh well!

wowowow!!! excellent!!
I can not understand it has no commment... Sincerilly is a great work for me.
And I mean:
-Excellent ellection of b/w, you should try a b/w film...
-Very good exposure, excellent lighting/contrast.
But, what I like mostly of this work, is the composiion, you should walk a lot to find this wonderful point of view.
So, Excellent.
C0ngratulations,
Cheers.
