Ah, you've acheived that elusive "expired Ektachrome" look. Just kidding.

I like the basic pose, the directness of the model's eye contact and you arrangement of elements within the frame. I think the water columns or whatever in the background are blown out and distracting. I would consider at least bringing down the tone a little. In fact, why not abandon the eccentric composition and just crop to a vertical of the subject? After all, she's the reason you made the image!

I think you did a really good job with this composition. Your friend sat perfectly and the placement is great. The shallow depth of field keeps us focused on your main subject. I might have cropped more from the bottom as the fountain edge towards the right seem to distract me. I would have left a little more on the top (Just a tad), the pose is great but to me she seems to be leaning forward to fit the crop.
