Thanks Cheryl,
Tsjip is still holding on, she's in no pain and has a playful mind and as long as she manages to walk a bit around, we don't want to put her down. But the minute she won't be able to stand on her own anymore, we'll send her to heaven, no matter how much we will grieve to let her go.
She is indeed a very special dog among all dogs we've had sofar.

This is a great capture of your beautiful dog.Only here with you for a while and then on to heaven.That is what I believe anyway. With all he has been through he must be one amazing dog.

Titia,
Although I've only recently joined UF, this photo and your words touched my heart. I've been through the same thing--I knew my sweet dog was failing, but when the end came, it broke my heart to have to put her down. My deepest sympathies and a wish for the strength you will need when the time comes.

My heart goes out to you in this hard time, loosing loved ones is never easy, all living things come to an end but its harder when u know when and how, she will be always remembered and will be waiting for you in heaven

Als je afscheid moet nemen doe t altijd pijn, ook al is het een dier, en zeker een trouwe hond die jaren blij was als thuis komt en die een speelkmameraad kan zijn voor groot en klein,

dear titia, i am deeply sorry for what is going to happen for tsjip. i surely can understand what a hard and unbareable pain it would be for you too, seeing your dear friend and company passing away. i once lost my very very dear cat, and though many years has past, i still miss her time to time. accept my sympathy!

My heart goes out to you we recently lost two pets that our family had had since my kids were young... my heart and strength go out to you.... Your dog knows how loved she is... It is my belief that they recycle their souls to you if they were happy hope that thought helps.
