caro roberto,
you visited alod friends and this time you had everything ready, the right location, the proper spot, this perspective and the enviable add-on by the clouds. beautifully sepia toning. congratulations.
i have been off for a while. work and travel and a little annoyance by the unnecessarily changed system which i still don't like. it is so much slower than it was. well, times are a-changing... but i am fine and happy to be back in the community.

Mi piace la tonalità la composizione le nuvole che tagliano di lato il cielo (sx) conferendo dinamicità allo scatto.
La chicca è la Y rovescia disegnata dai viottoli.
Quello che disturba è la pietra davanti a Te distrae la visione complessiva della foto.
prova ad eliminarla e otterrà un altro impatto (secondo me)

I like this inversed Y pointing up, leaving space to that old building... The rock on the center bottom distracts me a little but the beauty of the sky leads me again into the whole beauty of the photo... I like this! There is smomethig Dantesque aroun here... brrrr... ;-))))

Roby, la foto è decisamente bella, mi piace come lo sguardo viene guidato verso il cancello dalla Y rovesciata delle due stradine, i toni ed i contrasti della parte bassa sono forti, in un certo senso anche drammatici; non mi convince il cielo, è di qualche tacca più luminoso del resto e benchè non sia brutto, non si intona secondo me con il resto, forse si doveva "lavorare" di più sulle parti scure, sono sicuro che se chiedi ad Ali ti potrà dare dei suggerimenti preziosi! E' un mago dei cieli (e non solo!). Ciao, tra poco vado a nanna, buona notte! Max

Hi Roby, The converging roads lead the eye nicely towards the gate. A great shot, the sepia tone adding a timeless atmosphere. I only think that a perfect monotone might create a stronger effect than the duotone you used (IMHO the colours of the sky and the landscape do not quite complement eachother....)
