Hi, Tomo..it is always such a pleasure to visit your portfolio, i must tell you that. You pack so much humanity and compassion in your images that i anticipate clicking the thumbs just as i would any pleasurable experience from ordering a capuccino at a cozy place on a rainy day, to pulling out of the driveway to go on a trip to hearing a lover's voice answer my telephone call. Your iamges never disappoint.
i like so much your use of light on her right side. i used to think there was never an appropriate use of excessive light but i learned differently at a recent museum excursion. Everyday we see light that even our eyes cannot cut through and it's part of our world. Why should the lens be able to do what our eyes cannot? Why should our images not capture those explosive hightlights as well as those black shadows?
Love that light, love that her face is so touchingly in shadow, as if she's protecting herself, love the wisps of bright hair tossed in the wind, her eyebrows, her eyelashes, the catchlights in her eyes and her sweater, and especially the upward slope of her shoulders from left to right..your crop is perfect. dugo sam posmatrao ovaj portret. Mislim da je tvoja glavna "snaga" ustvari odabir "faca". Dakle, treba imati pravo oko uociti ovakva lica. Sam Bog zna sta je ova osoba "predeverala". Masa sitnih oziljaka govori o tome.
Mislim da je vrijeme da se trazi neka mecena za samostalnu izlozbu. Ti i ljudi oko tebe su zasluzili da tvoje portrete vide i u velikom formatu na papiru.

Hi Tomo,
one of the most interesting things about your work, it?s that you don?t do any changes by computer to make pictures more attractive. They are real. And that?s why they are so impressive and touching ?..
I?ve changed one of my poet to create this one. To me this is her monologue:
I?m standing here,
on the castle of sands, on the earth!
Every night sleeping on the statue of dreams,

Hi Tomo, A very intriguing and powerful portrait. Well composed, and excellent use of (back)lighting. This shot evokes alot of questions. Looking at her skin and the sad look in her eyes make me wonder what happened to her. She looks as if she's been through quite an ordeal, and has been brought up by experience. Very emotive shot.
