Fantastic abstract and capture. One of the better window reflection photos I have seen. Love the patterns. Lou

Hi Hugo, thanks for your comment. Yes, I took a little break from Usefilm, I was a bit overcrowded with photographs, had to slow down a little bit... I agree this image is less dynamic than those from the previous series - and so will be the next 2 images :) I think it has to do with the complete removal of the perspective. (Which I thought was kind of interesting, I believed it made the composition more abstract). And beside of that, it fun to play with Photoshop Elements... By the way, the Nedvan boxes are behind the window :)
regards,Hermen

Hi Hermen, Good to "have you back". Been busy lately, I guess....
The almost repetitive reflection in each window creates a huge appeal and the tones are perfect.
In comparison to your other Rotterdam shots, I miss the dynamism created by perspective and combination of shapes. I like the attention you (obviously) put into balancing the composition, framing the photo by the windows. Perfectly even.
Furthermore, the structure / construction in the lower part of the reflection (a crane?) adds quite alot to the composition. A nice touch. An even nicer touch are the Nedvan signs. Either those signs / crates are behind the window (which is the least obvious solution) or you mirrored the image.... Very intriguing....
Cheers,
Hugo

It's just beautiful. I have to watch windows closer then when I walk the streets in a city. Probably hundreds of people passed by this building and never noticed the beauty displayed in these windows. You did though. Thanks.

Titia, you make me blush:) In principle, it was just there, the building with its reflections. For the rest, I did some colour correction (to remove a bluish cast), cropping, and perspective corrections (to straighten the converging lines caused by aiming my camera upwards).

The minute I saw the thumbnail, I knew it was you Hermen. Beautiful composition again I must say. This I call 'ART' in capitol letters. And I wonder how you've put this together.
If I could give you a 10 I would, but you have to settle for a 7.
