Thanks John. It's actually in a gallery show as we speak. It is one of my favorite new pcs.

Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!

John Charlton   {K:5595} 6/5/2004
Right-left, left-right, mirrored, flipped, upside down, you can turn this image any way you want and it always comes out the same; perfectly balanced.

Try it. It's actually quite fun. And this is a wonderful example of perfect balance. It just couldn't be any better. So mirror it if you want but it won't change a thing. This is simply a great photograph. I don't rate but if I did, this would get a 7. Should be in a gallery or at least in competition.

Wow.... Added to my favourites...

Sorry John... I believe it flows perfectly the way it is. Starting from the top left and then fading gracefully on the bottom right corner...

Well my images could be educational... If you happen to be an anatomy professor, a plastic surgeon or an aspiring gynecologist... :-P

HEHEHE

Cheers

Well ppdix.. that was not quite what I was looking for although I'm quite happy to receive WOW... Does it work for you as composed... or would it be better if flipped horizontaly? No for the education issue... I find some of your images to be quite educational :)

My first reaction was... WOW!

After a few seconds of looking at it I am still wowing...

If there is such a word...

It's like it was painted, not photographed.

Looks like a king's crown on a scarlet silk robe...

Although my favorite flower is the orchid (for "feminine" reasons), this is the best flower photograph I have ever seen.

Cheers

I had a look at your daisies series.. it's really beautiful.. I was really confused on which to comment..
About this picture, I really like its strong colours yet soft tone.. and ofcourse, the nice cropping which helped the picture a lot...

Just checked the "new and improved" Usefilm site and saw this stunning image by you. This is outstanding, John. Truly outstanding! The composition is outmatched only by it's color symmetry. The radiating colors and floral structure, combined with a sharp but short focus that perfectly represents your subject create a nearly abstract portrait. Fine art, man. Very fine.
