Delighted to see this picture. I consider it very beautiful and very well done. I also like it because my wife was born in Timisoara. Excellent job, Florin, congratulations!

PS: This belongs to the Austro-Hungarian Empire's history. Unfortunately, Timisoara was given to Romania in 1919, but I hope that we still keep some of the Austrian spirit and that this beautiful town remained european.

I love this one for two reasons...first because the photo is beautifully composed and for what it represents whenever the history of Romania comes up to the mind. Many Many congrats,Florin! Antonella

Good shot, and a very good use of the DOF to single out the subject of the streetlight. I think the colour version might have put more attention to the light itself, and although I do like the monochromatic tones, I feel it "flattens" the image a bit. I wonder what the original colour version looks like...

Another option would be to selectively use colour in the streetlight, and leave the fore and background monochromatic.

Good shot, and a perfect angle.

Cheers,

Hugo
