Its an artificial lake and I wouldnt swim in it let alone drink it :(

Those things in the air arent really balloons they are bubbles of toxic gas erupting from the lake :)

But you seem to have quite a lot ot water there apart from that fountain, PLUS you're surrounded by an ocean. How come you haven't got enough water? As Seinfeld would say "Are you idiots, or what?"

Colours are exactly as recorded on the film.
The long thingy on the left is the Captain Cook Memorial Fountain. Its a water jet in the middle of Canberras main lake. Quite spectacular considering were suffering from a drought and major water restrictions right now :)
