You've really used the landscape to your advantage here... the foreground works well to give some added interest as well as some depth to the shot.
It looks like there is some jpeg artifacting in the sky, probably from the compressed file, or maybe the scan. Just something to be aware of while uploading.
It also doesn't look as sharp as it could be... did you use a tripod, or rest your camera on something? With a bit longer of a shutter speed you might have gotten just a little more colour in the sky.
Compositionally, this is very good! It took me a while to figure out that foreground objects really help to create interest and dynamic photos.

Great pic, but as Hugo says, the compression is to hard, we are alowed to upload files as large as 360k so why not use that (your file is only 27k) and get better looking photos!

Hi Annika, Very good composition and colours. A very original sunset, but the JPEG compression errors are a bit distracting, and it is not as sharp as your usual high standard. But I like where this is going, though.
