About We awoke this morning to find that 6 inches of snow fell through the night, and it was still coming. The temperature was borderline for snow, so the accumulation was very pronounced. Because of the contrast between the snow and the trees, I made it a B & W image.

Great capture Mike with excellent tonal range. A tight crop on the leafless tree might make an alternative picture.
Best regards,
Graham.

Very good contrast. Francis, I think that your choice of B&W perfeclty reflects surprising return of a winter conditions in your region. I can feel the "borderline temperatures" with heavy and wet snow. Great image wonderfully presented. Friendly regards, Rafal

Nice shot of a miserable day. Here in NY we are still getting it. Where is the spring? When will it get here? I tried to go out to shoot today but it was coming down so hard it was impossible to keep the lense from getting wet.
Stay warm.

B&W is perfect, as is the composition, as is the excessive brightness of the snow. Great work, compliments
